The Silent Waves
Very early on, he is very sensitive to constantly changing lights of the coast of the North Sea, he frames, purifies, his landscapes have become a pretext, a memory to extract its lyrical abstraction.
Lines appear and disappear like a more or less abstract musical scope, the sound is faint, they whisper in your ear, there is no longer any human reference, just a modulation where time is suspended, no more reference if not invariably an immutable and structuring horizon line. Which multiply, reduce, melt, to breathe a poetic variation.
